Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable 1099, skilled, and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep facilities and equipment in excellent condition. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, great customer service, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a background check and drug test
• At least 3 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent work ethic; dependable, punctual, and proactive
• Well-groomed with a neat, professional appearance
• Own Certificate of Insurance (COI) and workers’ compensation coverage
• Willing to sign the company Privacy/Confidentiality Agreement
• Agrees to follow company policies for software/apps, mobile phones, vehicles, credit cards, and time tracking
• Owns basic hand tools necessary for routine maintenance tasks
• Able to take clear photos and complete simple step-by-step checklists in company systems

Required Skills

• Light Basic carpentry, painting, and patching
• Light Plumbing and electrical repairs (non-licensed, light-duty)
• Furniture/fixture assembly and repair; hanging objects
• Drywall and flooring repairs
• Lock replacement/installation; repair/replace door knobs
• Weatherproofing and exterior/yard work

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities are properly maintained and operational
• Perform routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, and overall cleanliness
• Inspect and service bathroom batteries, flush valves, and smoke detectors
• Execute preventive maintenance and facility repairs as assigned
• Maintain the exterior/grounds and keep surroundings clean
• Deliver a positive customer experience through professional, courteous service
• Document work with photos, notes, and completion of checklists/work orders in company software
• Adhere to company policies when using software, mobile devices, vehicles, credit cards, and time-tracking tools; protect company and client information under the Privacy Agreement
