Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to assist the Full-Time maintenance man with the upkeep and maintenance of our condominium community. The ideal candidate will have experience in general building maintenance, be able to work independently, and take pride in maintaining a safe and attractive property for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and recognize plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC-related issues as needed
• Inspect common areas and identify maintenance concerns
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain grounds, walkways, and community amenities
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as required
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and community policies

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, handyman, apartment, condominium, or facilities experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week

Pay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience
