Maintenance Technician

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and be at the forefront of ensuring our brand-new apartments are being maintained safely and efficiently. In this energetic role, you will perform essential maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine apartment rental repairs, using your expertise and proactive approach to contribute to a safe, reliable environment where quality and efficiency are top priorities.

Duties

• Complete work orders as assigned
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing,
• Diagnose and repair minor plumbing, appliance and electrical issues.
• Perform painting and carpentry ( door replacements, lock replacements, replace vinyl tile as needed) in preparation for new rentals.
• Keep the property clean and debris free by removing trash off the grounds, keeping all dumpster areas clean, removal of bulk trash items, groundskeeping in general.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and safety documentation for all repairs and inspections.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, plumbing, electrical, or related fields.
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing and electricity
• Hands-on experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting various in-home systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and electrical components.
• Construction or building maintenance experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for documenting work processes clearly and accurately.

Pay: $23.66 - $28.49 per hour
