Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing issues, ensuring that all facilities are operating efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for both routine maintenance tasks and emergency repairs, providing excellent customer service while working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functions.
• Fabricate parts or components as necessary to complete repairs or enhancements.
• Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a residential or commercial setting.
• Proficiency in working with logic controllers and other technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to weld when required.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks and guide others effectively.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
