Maintenance Technician

Array South Property Management is seeking an experienced, reliable, and dependable Maintenance Technician with a strong work ethic to support the daily maintenance needs for our multi family community, located in Pensacola, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our apartment complex. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing routine repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the community. This position includes completing service request, assisting with apartment turns, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with property upkeep while working along side the Maintenance Supervisor.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday
• Some weekends may be required
• On-Call rotation begins after 30 days of employment

Compensation & Benefits

• $20-$23 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and certifications)
• On-site living may be available for eligible staff, though this is not guaranteed with the position offer

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and conducting turns.
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing. electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls during scheduled on-call rotations
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work alongside the Maintenance Supervisor and complete any additional tasks around the community that may be needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in property management maintenance
• HVAC certification preferred
• EPA certification required
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Knowledge in general maintenance, use of tools and equipment, appliances, plumbing, and repairing items in apartment home
• Ability to lift 50lbs+ and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver license & reliable transportation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Maintaining a positive team attitude

Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour
