This is a hands-on craft role where your work is visible every single day: equipment maintained on schedule, problems caught before they become failures, breakdowns fixed fast and fixed safely.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll keep the machinery, equipment, and facility running at one of our operating companies, working alongside the maintenance team and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager. Day to day, that means:

• Performing preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities on schedule
• Inspecting equipment for wear, damage, or malfunction - and acting before it becomes a breakdown
• Troubleshooting malfunctions, finding the root cause, and fixing it so the same failure doesn't come back
• Repairing and replacing defective parts and components with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Helping keep the building running - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Working with manufacturers, vendors, and contractors on technical support, parts, and service calls
• Keeping clean records: work orders, equipment logs, parts and inventory counts
• Following every safety protocol, including lockout / tagout, without exception
• Responding quickly when equipment or facility issues threaten production
• Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose and repair
• Sharing what you know - training and guiding teammates on procedures, safety, and equipment
• Pitching in on continuous-improvement work that makes equipment more reliable
• Keeping your work and shop area clean, organized, and safe

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• A solid grasp of equipment-maintenance and safety regulations and standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and overtime when production needs it

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Vocational training, a certification, or an associate degree in maintenance or a related field
• Familiarity with the machinery and equipment common to manufacturing
• Trade-specific licenses or certifications - electrical, HVAC, forklift, OSHA (some tasks may require them)

HOW YOU'LL WORK

This is an on-site, full-time, non-exempt role. Expect shifts, weekends, overtime, and on-call coverage as production requires; there's no travel.

You'll spend your day on the plant floor and throughout the facility, including mechanical and utility areas, with some rooftop and exterior work in whatever weather the day brings. The role is physical: standing, walking, climbing, and bending for long stretches, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, and working in confined spaces and at heights. You'll be around moving machinery, high noise levels, lubricants and solvents, and unconditioned spaces - so safety glasses, gloves, footwear, hearing protection, and task-specific PPE are part of the job. Lockout / tagout is routine.
