Job Summary
Performs complex preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) building systems and equipment. Utilizes advanced diagnostics skills and tools to conduct detailed inspections. Manages emergency repairs across all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) building systems. Ensures MEP building systems operate efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent.

Three (3) years of experience in general maintenance, construction, or related field e.g. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Certification, Confined Space Certification, and Fall Protection Certification or ability to obtain certifications within one (1) year of hire.

Maintenance or repair experience working in a commercial, industrial, institutional, or large-scale facility.

Ability to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds. If lifting is over fifty (50) pounds, the ability to buddy lift or use of tools to aid in lifting.

Ability to climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, catwalks, and various arial lifts in excess of twenty-five (25) feet.

Ability to work weekends, and on call-hours as required.

Valid driver’s license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
