We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-maintained community in southwest San Angelo. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the property
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems
• Maintain and service A/C & heating systems (HVAC)
• Repair and maintain appliances, lighting, and locks
• Assist with make-ready units, including prepping apartments for new residents
• Ensure all units meet move-in quality standards
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (every third week)

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of:
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing
• HVAC systems (certification preferred)
• If not HVAC certified, must be willing to obtain certification
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent walking, bending, and climbing stairs
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
