Maintenance Technician Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and appliances to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Lead small-scale renovation projects related to facility upgrades or repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, ensure safety compliance, and uphold high standards of quality in all maintenance activities.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Potential for continuing education in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Service technician experience with a focus on timely diagnostics and repairs in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or contractors during projects.
• Knowledge of construction practices related to facility upgrades or modifications.
• Maintaining outdoor areas to include shoveling snow and ice as required

Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, internal wiring, painting, cleaning tasks as assigned
• Must provide personal tools
• Proven knowledge of general maintenance
• High school diploma or GED

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
