REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor PAY: Hourly

POSITION Full Time FLSA CLASS Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT Assembly SHIFT Day

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintenance Technician – Lightweight will perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning on TBB
equipment and building facilities and to ensure both are clean and functional.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Maintenance Technician – Lightweight will be dependable with a keen eye for detail with maintenance

experience and solid technical knowledge. Technicians must also possess manual dexterity and

physical stamina.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.

• Perform minor repairs such as a broken lock or filling gaps on walls, etc.

• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.

• Install appliances and equipment.

• Perform garden/yard work such as weed and trash control.

• Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.

• Inspect and trouble shoot equipment and systems such as ventilation.

• Check the functionality of safety systems such as fire alarms.

• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.

• Report issues to Maintenance Team Lead.

• Work irregular hours and overtime when requires.

• Create a welcoming environment.

• Bring a positive attitude each day.

• Other duties as assigned.
  

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

The Maintenance Technician is expected to work with minimal supervision and a customer centered

focus and initiative to proactively address issues which may affect Safety, Quality, Efficiency and

Productivity to prevent personal injury, property damage, increased cost or loss of revenue to TBB.

TRAVEL, HOURS OF WORK, & SUPERVISION:
This position normally requires the individual to be physically present at one or more TBB
manufacturing location Monday through Friday as deemed necessary. This position will report to
Maintenance Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• None

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (including but not limited to):

• Regularly able to work a 12-hour shift standing/walking.

• Regularly able to climb ladders repetitively.

• Regularly able to bend, crouch, twist, pull.

• Regularly able to lift/carry 80 lbs.

• Regularly able to work at a desk for short periods of time.

• Regularly able to work in all types of weather.
