Park Inc is looking for a part-time maintenance technician to work at our client location in Brooklyn, NY. The hours are 11pm - 8am on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. The pay is $19.17 per hour. As a maintenance technician, you will perform the following duties. Other duties may be required and assigned. All duties are performed in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Inspect all pavement marking, bumper guards, gate arms, and wheel blocks daily.

Maintain in good operating conditions all doors, gates, barricades, ticket spitters, card access, computers, pay stations, safes, and other parking equipment.

Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers.

Maintain the premises in a clean, presentable condition not allowing dirt, paper, gum, or trash to accumulate upon premises; apply snow melt, remove snow, ice and other obstructions from premises.

Sweep the garage using broom or leaf blower, wipe equipment, empty trash and throw it in the dumpster every night. Clean the garage, all stairwells, and sidewalks.

Power sweep, scrub, and power wash ramp and entry areas as directed. Remove bird feathers and droppings.

Install parking signs, repaint directional arrows, handicap spaces, and parking lines.

Maintain and keep in good working order all illuminated directional, informational, and advertising signs located within or on the exterior of the premises as they relate to parking operation.

Adopt and follow schedule for inspection and maintenance of all equipment.

Maintain all doors, locks, and keys for garage premises.

Provide pest and rodent control if applicable.

Regulary tour and inspect all parking garage floors, doors, and stairwells. Ask homeless people, smokers, and teenagers loitering to leave the property. Get secruity or police department involved in case they refuse to leave.

Answer telephones and asist customers using parking equipment.

Check overnight vehicles, record thier information, and provide report to the manager.

Lag and communicate to garage manager all daily activiities, as well as any open issues regarding the safe and secure operation of the facility.
