Maintenance Technician Experienced

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will follow scheduled work and maintenance on all manners of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and machinery in departments by the direction of the Maintenance and Engineering Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blue prints.
• Trouble shoot, disassemble & rebuild defective equipment as well as replace defective parts, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, pump systems, hydraulics, electrical, etc.
• Make modifications to improve efficiency and reliability of equipment and its systems.
• Combustion and gas burner experience.
• Proficient in metal working/fabrication and welding.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions, manuals and guide lines.
• Strong electrical knowledge

Specifications/Qualifications:

• Education – High School diploma or equivalent, and/or Technical Certificate, equivalent job experience will be considered.
• Ability to speak and understand the English language.
• Heavy Industry

Experience:

• Mechanical/Production knowledge: 1-3 years (Required)
• Hydraulics and combustion & gas burner knowledge a must.
