Maintenance Technician / Facilities Maintenance

Clover Facilities is seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities maintenance and general building repairs, with the ability to work independently across multiple properties throughout the San Antonio area and surrounding Central Texas regions.

This position primarily services facilities in San Antonio, TX, with occasional travel to surrounding areas including Austin, TX. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and is committed to maintaining properties at the highest standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and property systems
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance issues
• Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Utilize Maintenance Management Systems to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and repairs
• Conduct general repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry, fixture replacement, and minor fabrication work
• Perform landscaping, groundskeeping, and exterior property upkeep as needed
• Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and operational efficiency
• Respond to maintenance emergencies or urgent service calls when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company and OSHA safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with tenants, vendors, clients, and team members
• Travel between multiple facilities throughout the San Antonio area and occasionally to Austin and surrounding locations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of general repairs across multiple trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and carpentry
• Experience with landscaping and outdoor maintenance preferred
• HVAC and/or EPA certification is a plus
• Experience using maintenance service software or work order systems highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work outdoors in Texas weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $150.00 per day
