Maintenance Technician Helper

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Helper to join our manufacturing facility team. In this entry-level role, you will assist experienced maintenance technicians in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, hydraulics, welding, and more, while supporting the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems
• Support troubleshooting efforts using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify issues
• Help with repairs involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and mechanical parts
• Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems
• Aid in the use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems during maintenance tasks
• Participate in the use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders and maintenance history
• Support safety protocols including working with high voltage systems and low voltage electrical components

Qualifications

• Previous experience or training in industrial mechanic work or industrial maintenance preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and industrial electrician practices
• Ability to operate tools safely and effectively
• Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues
• Experience working with industrial equipment in manufacturing facilities or military environments is advantageous
• Proficiency in English for clear communication and documentation
• Ability to read technical schematics and use precision measuring instruments accurately
• Field service experience or customer service skills are beneficial for collaborative problem-solving
