Maintenance Technician HVAC

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across all departments, including molding and paint lines.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and improve system reliability.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC units and associated components (e.g., chillers, air compressors, ventilation systems).
- Monitor and maintain environmental controls in sensitive areas such as paint booths and molding lines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure HVAC support aligns with manufacturing schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance work.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- EPA Universal Certification (required).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems in a plastics manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with injection and blow molding equipment, ovens, chillers, and cleanroom ventilation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
