The Maintenance Technician shall be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of the boilers, cooling towers, chillers, plumbing, exhaust fans, roof top units, air handlers,and other associated equipment and related distribution systems. All installations and corrective maintenance shall be properly documented. All utility system failures shall be documented and reported to the Director of Facilities/Project Manager. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and or technical school training in HVAC, plumbing and electrical
EXPERIENCE: Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience. NUST HAVE HVAC experience
CONTACT WITH OTHERS: Must be able to follow directions and perform work independently according to department and industry standards. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively and appropriately under stressful and emergent situations.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Proficient verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Licenses/Certificates:
Electrical, HVAC/CFC, Boiler, or other technical license/certifications are desirable.
