Maintenance Technician - II

Join Rendezvous Mountain Rentals, Jackson Hole’s premier vacation rental management company! We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician II to help maintain our portfolio of luxury homes and condominiums. This position plays a key role in ensuring that every property is in top condition for our guests and homeowners.

As a Maintenance Tech II, you’ll perform routine and advanced maintenance tasks, diagnose and resolve property issues, and collaborate closely with the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Owner Services teams. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related trade
• Strong technical knowledge of home systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
• Team-oriented with strong communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable, organized, and proactive in identifying and addressing maintenance needs
• Ability to lift 30 lbs or more and work safely with tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance on residential properties
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently through company systems (e.g., Breezeway)
• Conduct seasonal property inspections, documenting findings and performing minor repairs
• Assist with hot-tub maintenance, including cleaning, water testing, and chemical balance
• Support on-call rotations and respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain organized inventory of tools, supplies, and parts
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping and Owner Services departments to ensure all guest-ready standards are met
