Seeking: Experienced Facility Maintenance Technician

• Use your mechanical skills & aptitude
• Perform a variety of general installations, repairs and general maintenance duties
• Ability to see what needs to be repaired and take action!
• Must be self-motivated
• Work in the plant and outdoors in the Florida heat
• Use good judgment
• Keep work area clean, neat, and organized
• Be an active listener and understand the points being made

Pay: This position will compensate individuals based on experience.

Hours: M-F; 7am-3:30pm (hours may vary and occasional OT may be required)

Required Skills / Experience:

• High School or GED, training in maintenance required
• Must possess certification or general knowledge of at least one of the following: welding, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, or other required disciplines.
• Service units and maintain air conditioning systems
• Perform facility building maintenance which may include painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Pass a background check and drug test

Physical Demands:

• Stand, bend, walk, reach with hands and arms
• Good hand/eye coordination,
• Occasionally move or lift up to 70 lbs.
• Climb ladders
• Exposed to wood dust and various adhesives
• May have to kneel for extended periods of time
• Hear possible hazards in the workplace (forklift, routine conversation) for safety purposes

This position with be performed in the non-climate controller plant and outdoors in the Florida weather.
