Maintenance Technician –– Residential Area Bethlehem, PA

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Lead to support three residential properties located in Pennington, NJ.

This is a senior-level role responsible for advanced maintenance operations, complex troubleshooting, and leadership within the maintenance team. The Maintenance Lead often oversees diagnostics for complex issues, trains junior technicians, and makes key operational decisions. Candidates typically hold advanced or specialized certifications that enable them to work with complex systems and assume higher responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and building systems to identify issues or malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing equipment and devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.
• Complete carpentry and flooring repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Maintain accurate records in building systems software.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide guidance and support to junior maintenance technicians.
• Lead advanced diagnostics and repairs requiring senior-level expertise.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in building maintenance or related skilled trades.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and appliance systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Leadership experience or ability to mentor and guide technicians.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
• Advanced certifications (EPA, HVAC, etc.) strongly preferred.
