Guide Property Services, a rapidly growing mid-size property management company based in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a 200-unit apartment community in the Northgate neighborhood. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values resident satisfaction, and is eager to grow with us.
Responsibilities:
- Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform efficient and detailed unit turnovers, including painting, repairs, and cleaning as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance throughout the property.
- Perform pool maintenance (CPO license preferred).
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
- Oversee work performed by external contractors when required.
- Assist in maintaining property grounds to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Participate in an on-call emergency maintenance rotation (2 weeks per month).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or related fields.
- Plumbing background preferred.
- CPO license preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation and a basic set of tools.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible).
