Maintenance Technician with HVAC Experience/Lead Role Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong HVAC and general maintenance experience who can also step into a lead role Technician when the Maintenance Supervisor is out of office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner
• Perform move-in inspections and make-ready work for new tenants
• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (toilets, faucets, etc.)
• Perform electrical repairs and installations (switches, outlets, lighting, etc.)
• Repair, replace, and install major household appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, water heaters, HVAC systems, etc.)
• Complete carpentry work including drywall, doors, flooring, and general repairs
• Step in as acting Maintenance Supervisor when needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, vendors, and team members

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record (required)
• HVAC experience: minimum 1 year (required)
• Strong background in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have personal hand tools (company provides larger tools and equipment)
• Effective communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Availability Monday-Friday, 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M., with occassional overtime, weekend work, and on-call rotation
• Local candidates preferred (Rutherford County)(due to on call emergencies)

Compensation & Benfits

• Competitive hourly paty ($25.00-$30.00, based on experience)

Schedule

• 8-hour shift (Monday-Friday)
