Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of tasks in support of residents, management, equipment, and overall property needs.
- Professionally complete and follow up on all work orders in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the performance, condition, and reliability of vehicles, equipment, buildings, grounds, and all property amenities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a maintenance program that meets quality standards and is approved by leadership. Recommend improvements in maintenance services to the Property Executive Director to ensure the highest service standards.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance and environmental services.
- Diagnose issues, identify faulty operations, materials, or unsafe conditions, and report findings to the supervisor as needed.
- Perform repairs, landscaping, custodial duties, snow removal, and garbage removal.
- Participate in redecorating and restoring resident rooms and common areas.
- Support and promote company safety practices, including Universal Precautions, OSHA standards, infection control, hazard communication, fire safety, and disaster response procedures.
- Actively participate in the property management team, providing input and collaborating with the Property Executive Director.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports as required.
- Attend department meetings, staff meetings, and mandatory in-service training sessions.
- Implement direction from the Executive Director and company initiatives to enhance efficiency and operational quality.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding business operations and resident information.
- Understand and uphold all resident rights, including freedom from restraints and abuse, in all interactions related to job duties.
- Immediately report any suspected resident abuse or violation of resident rights to the appropriate authority.
- Contribute to maintaining a homelike, supportive environment for residents.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service and participate in property activities to support resident care and service quality.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident and family concerns to ensure satisfaction, hospitality, and a sense of urgency.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include food preparation and service, activity coordination, housekeeping, or laundry services.
- Fulfill on-call duties and maintain flexibility in scheduling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
