Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of facilities located in , Barnwell, , Blackville, Allendale and O'BURG, SC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning workplace by performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Duties will include; minor building repairs, such as toilet and sink repairs, tile/carpet installation, carpentry work, minor electrical repairs and other general maintenance.. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help keep operations running smoothly and contribute to the overall success of our facilities.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as residential painting, carpentry, or HVAC repairs to support building integrity.
• Supervise or lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance schedules or issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, electrical systems, and troubleshooting using schematics.
• Knowledge of maintenance software for tracking work orders and maintenance history..
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, working at heights, or in confined spaces safely.
• Prior experience in residential painting or general facilities upkeep is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
