We are currently hiring a full-time Maintenance & Turnover Operations Manager to join our property management team.
Position Summary
The Maintenance & Turnover Operations Manager is responsible for helping oversee maintenance operations and property turnover processes across our portfolio. This role helps ensure work orders, vendor coordination, move-outs, property turns, rent-ready timelines, and related documentation are handled efficiently and accurately.
This position requires strong organization, follow-up, communication, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced property management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance work orders through Property Meld and other internal systems
- Communicate with tenants, owners, vendors, and internal team members regarding maintenance and property status
- Manage vendor follow-up, scheduling, timelines, and accountability
- Help oversee the property turnover process from move-out through rent-ready status
- Track property readiness, repairs, cleaning, landscaping, lock changes, and other turn-related items
- Coordinate with operations, accounting, leasing, and vendors to keep projects moving forward
- Maintain accurate notes, records, documentation, and reporting in Yardi, Property Meld, and internal tracking systems
- Assist with security deposit disposition documentation and related move-out processes
- Help identify bottlenecks and communicate updates clearly to the appropriate team members
- Provide administrative support to the management team as needed
- Assist with general office responsibilities and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Property management experience preferred
- Maintenance coordination or vendor management experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Yardi, Property Meld, CRM systems, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and internet-based applications is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize, follow up, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and solution-focused
- Adaptable to feedback, process changes, and shifting priorities
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Arizona Real Estate License is a plus, but not required
