Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise in mechanical systems, landscaping, and general maintenance will help create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components
• Conduct landscaping activities such as mowing, tree trimming, planting, and garden care to maintain attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators for construction or landscape projects
• Maintain lawns through mowing, irrigation system management, and snow plowing during winter months
• Assist with hardscape projects including paving walkways, installing retaining walls, or other landscaping features
• Perform tree care tasks such as pruning and trimming to promote healthy growth and safety
• Support gardening efforts by planting new flora and maintaining existing plantings to enhance curb appeal

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in basic repairs and equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, irrigation systems, and tree trimming
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and gardening best practices
• Experience with snow plowing and winter weather preparation is preferred
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
