The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the property through routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds upkeep. This position ensures that guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces remain in excellent condition by promptly addressing maintenance issues and performing scheduled maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms and facility areas.
- Replace light bulbs, fixtures, and other minor electrical components as needed.
- Repair and unclog toilets, sinks, drains, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Conduct painting, touch-up work, and surface repairs to maintain the property's appearance.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies in good working order.
- Conduct landscaping and grounds maintenance activities twice per month, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and general outdoor upkeep.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Assist with other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform manual labor as required.
- Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour
