Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. Your expertise will help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across various areas, including landscaping, building repairs, and groundskeeping. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, and lawn care to enhance outdoor aesthetics
• Operate heavy machinery including excavators and snow plows for construction projects or seasonal snow removal
• Maintain irrigation systems, gardens, and horticultural areas to promote healthy growth and vibrant landscapes
• Carry out hardscape work such as installing or repairing walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape features
• Assist with tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure safety and beauty of outdoor spaces
• Support seasonal tasks like snow plowing or landscaping projects to maintain year-round site appearance and safety

Experience

• Proven experience with mechanical systems, landscaping, or groundskeeping roles preferred
• Familiarity with lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators or tree trimmers required
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance best practices highly desirable
• Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety standards
• Prior experience in construction or hardscape installation is a plus
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and tree care practices preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently
