Position - Maintenance Worker

Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana’s largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.

Position Description:

To maintain all facilities and grounds for Regional Health Systems. Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and have knowledge of Building Maintenance such as plumbing, light electrical, carpentry skills, and light HVAC.

Responsibilities:

· Complete assigned tasks and work orders in a timely and accurate manner.

· Replace light bulbs, repair plumbing, adjust T-Stats, change filters, repair furniture etc.

· Trim, mow, weed, fertilize, snow removal (plow, shovel) & keep grounds free of litter.

· Paint structures/surfaces as instructed in a neat and timely manner.

· Demonstrate ability to utilize computer resources required to perform job responsibilities.

Essential Function:

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid Driver's License

Ability to work as a team member and independently when needed.

Shift Details: Full-time, Days

Location: Merrillville and East Chicago, Indiana
