Summary
Maintenance Worker, under the general supervision of the Golf Superintendent, maintains the golf course and associated facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, sod work, seeding, and watering for greens, parks, and assigned facilities
• Maintains trees and planting areas, which involves planting, pruning, pest control, fertilizing, and weed and vegetation removal as needed
• Operates and maintains assigned irrigation systems and ornamental fountains
• Ensures cleanliness of grounds by removing ground litter and properly disposing of trash from containers on a timely schedule
• Performs janitorial services to clean and maintain park restrooms
• Completes required daily paperwork for the department
• Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience in maintenance or operating related equipment

Certifications and Licenses

• Valid driver’s license
