Wage: $52,644.80 - $67,766.40 (starting wage contingent upon experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

Job Summary

Under immediate direction, operates solid waste and/or recycle or yard waste collection truck

on all collection routes to collect solid waste, yard waste and recyclables. Performs routine

maintenance to vehicle.

Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other

High school diploma or G.E.D. and one year of related experience or training; or equivalent

combination of education and experience. Experience driving a truck or related. Satisfactory

driving record. Valid State of Iowa commercial drivers license instruction permit upon first day

in position. Valid State of Iowa Class B commercial drivers license with air brake endorsement

within 6 months of hire. Meet federal drug testing requirements. Requires a pre-employment

drug screen. Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check.
