Maintenance Worker / Laborer

Job Summary

The Town of Wayland seeks highly motivated candidates for an entry level Maintenance Worker/Laborer in our Department of Public Works. This position performs a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled manual work associated with the maintenance, repair and construction of DPW assets, including but not limited to: athletic fields and parks; roads, streets and bridges; traffic markings, signs; sidewalks and curbs, etc.

Full Time 40 hours/week. Mon-Fri 6:30am to 2:30pm

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and over 6 months of related experience in public works, maintenance work or grounds keeping work; must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, a Class B CDL is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.36 - $28.42 per hour
