We are currently looking for a Maintenance/Facilities Engineer Intern who is passionate about equipment and facilities maintenance and excited to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance/Plant Engineer Intern, you will support our maintenance and production teams with:
- Assisting in the development, optimization, and documentation of maintenance processes
- Evaluating and improving maintenance efficiency, equipment utilization, and workflow
- Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Tracing building utilities and providing detailed CAD piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
- Assisting in equipment troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and R&D
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of work instructions and process documentation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Basic understanding of maintenance practices, programmable logic controller (PLC), and utility design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks proficiency is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a hands-on environment
