We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Person/Property Manager to help maintain the grounds, facilities, and natural beauty of our family-owned mountain cabin resort and hot springs. This role is essential in ensuring our guests enjoy a well-functioning and welcoming environment year-round.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cabins, facilities, and common areas
- Inspect and maintain hot springs systems, pools, and related equipment
- Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
- Maintain grounds, including snow removal and landscaping
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
- Maintain septic systems and water softener systems
- Support small renovation and improvement projects
- Work closely with front desk, management and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience needed
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
- Experience with pool/spa or hot springs maintenance is a plus (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, honest, and detail-oriented
Work Environment:
- Primarily outdoors and in rustic, mountainous conditions
- Exposure to varying weather, wildlife, and uneven terrain
- On-call or flexible schedule may be required during peak seasons or emergencies
- Small, friendly staff
