The Role

As a Special Education Tutor, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group academic instruction
• Deliver targeted support in reading and math across grade levels
• Reinforce individualized academic plans
• Create structured, engaging, student-centered lessons
• Collaborate with instructional and support staff
• Communicate student progress clearly with families and leadership
• Support students in meeting defined academic benchmarks

This is not casual tutoring, it’s purposeful instruction that moves students forward.

Qualifications (Required)

✔ Valid Florida ESE Teaching Certification
✔ Experience supporting students with special needs
✔ Tutoring experience in:

• Elementary Reading & Math
• Middle School Reading & Math
• High School Reading

✔ Availability to tutor onsite during school hours
✔ Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and strong driving record
✔ Strong professionalism, reliability, and communication skills

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
