At Uplift Hospice, we believe every person deserves to be seen, supported, and surrounded by compassion in their final chapter. We're looking for warm-hearted, dependable volunteers to join our growing team and bring comfort to patients and families during one of life's most sacred seasons.

Whether you're a college student looking to gain meaningful hands-on experience, a retiree with a heart to serve, or a community member who simply wants to give back — there's a place for you here.

What You'll Do

We have openings in two key areas:

Patient & Family Support Volunteers

• Provide companionship and a caring presence to hospice patients
• Assist families with light errands, meal support, or respite care
• Offer emotional support through conversation, reading, music, or simply being present

Administrative Volunteers

• Support daily office operations and patient intake coordination
• Assist with data entry, filing, and communication tasks
• Help with volunteer program logistics and special projects

You're a Great Fit If You:

• Are compassionate, patient, and a good listener
• Can commit to at least 4 hours per week consistently
• Are comfortable in emotionally sensitive environments
• Are a college student (healthcare, social work, psychology, or related fields welcome!)
• Are a retiree, faith community member, or community servant looking for purposeful involvement
