Responsibilities

• Provide professional makeup application services for various occasions including weddings, photoshoots, events, and daily beauty needs
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, skin types, and desired looks, offering expert advice on makeup techniques and products
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly cleaning brushes, tools, and workstations after each client
• Stay current with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations to ensure fresh and innovative looks
• Assist clients with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, eyebrow threading, body waxing, or hair styling as needed
• Upsell suitable products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and boost retail sales
• Capture high-quality photographs of completed looks for promotional purposes while ensuring client comfort and privacy

Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional makeup application with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles
• Knowledge of color theory to create harmonious and flattering looks for different skin tones and features
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport quickly
• Basic understanding of sanitation standards for beauty tools and workspaces
• Skills in cosmetology or related certifications preferred but not required; relevant training or licensing is a plus
• Familiarity with photography techniques to help clients visualize their looks before photoshoots or events
• Additional skills such as hair styling, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, or body waxing are advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive client experience
