Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement engaging music lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities

* Teach music theory, history, and appreciation to students of varying ages and skill levels

* Conduct choir, band, or orchestra rehearsals and performances, as well as individual and group lessons

* Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure continuous improvement

* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into the broader curriculum, promoting interdisciplinary learning

* Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression

* Participate in school events, concerts, and performances, showcasing student talent and achievements

* Stay current with best practices in music education, attending professional development opportunities and workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field

* Valid teaching certification or licensure in Music Education

* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting

* Excellent musical skills, including proficiency in at least one instrument or voice

* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

* Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles, ages, and abilities

* Familiarity with music technology and digital tools, such as music software and online resources
