Male Aesthetic Nurse

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin treatment), laser treatments, and skin rejuvenation therapies in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, skin analysis, and treatment planning to ensure personalized care.
• Educate patients on procedure options, expected outcomes, post-treatment care, and potential risks to foster informed decision-making.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Document all treatments accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, including pre- and post-procedure notes and patient instructions.
• Monitor patient responses during procedures, manage any adverse reactions promptly, and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine and laser technology through ongoing training and professional development.

Skills

• Proven experience administering injections such as dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments with precision and confidence.
• Strong knowledge of dermatology, physiology, anatomy related to facial aesthetics, and skin care principles.
• Familiarity with laser devices used for skin resurfacing, hair removal, or vascular treatments; experience with esthetic laser treatment preferred.
• Excellent patient communication skills to educate clients effectively about procedures and aftercare instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, dermatologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of medical documentation standards ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
