Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Chemical Engineering Intern to join our metal fabrication facility for a 2 or 3-month internship. The intern will support in process optimization and innovation projects, focusing on automation, chemical recovery, and process quality control in the electro-polishing line for SS-304 medical sterilization baskets. This internship provides hands-on industrial exposure and practical learning in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Study and document the current electro-polishing, rinsing, and drying processes to identify areas of improvement

· Conduct process analysis and experiments related to automatic drying system development, aiming to eliminate manual drying and prevent chemical stains on products.

· Support the design and implementation of a pilot drying setup (hot air, tunnel, or centrifugal) and record key process parameters such as temperature, air velocity, and drying time.

· Analyze used electrolyte and rinse solutions to determine composition and level of contamination.

· Participate in the development of a recycling and neutralization system for used chemicals to reduce waste and optimize resource consumption.

· Perform laboratory testing of electrolyte composition, including analysis of acid concentration, metal ion buildup, and bath degradation.

· Establish testing procedures and maintain logs for periodic electrolyte quality monitoring.

· Prepare technical reports summarizing observations, test results, and process improvement recommendations.

· Assist in preparing documentation for safety, environmental, and quality compliance relevant to process operations.

· Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to implement and monitor approved process modifications.

· Present findings and recommendations to the Head of Department at regular review meetings.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Fresh graduates will be preferred

· Basic knowledge of chemical reactions, corrosion, surface coatings, and industrial safety.

· Strong analytical, observation, and documentation skills.

· Eagerness to learn and contribute in a hands-on industrial setup.

Stipend / Benefits:

· Rs. 20,000 monthly stipend
