The Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced male caregiver/nurse to provide comprehensive, non-medical, and basic medical care to our male clients. This role is essential for helping clients maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting clients with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Health Support: Monitoring vital signs (as trained), administering oral medication (if allowed by protocol), and assisting with basic wound care/dressing changes under supervision.
• Household Support: Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Companionship: Providing engaging companionship and emotional support.
• Safety Monitoring: Ensuring the client's home environment is safe and reporting any changes in the client's condition immediately to the supervisor/care coordinator.
• Documentation: Accurately maintaining care records and daily logs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Mandatory Qualification: Successful completion of one of the following certified courses:
• General Duty Assistant (GDA)
• Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)
• Gender: Male candidates only (This is a genuine occupational requirement to provide culturally and personally appropriate care for male clients, particularly with personal/intimate care needs).
• Experience: Specify required expertise, e.g., 1-2 years of proven experience in home healthcare or hospital/clinic/ home care
• Skills: Excellent communication (verbal and written in English, Hindi, and Local Language, compassionate demeanor, strong sense of responsibility, and punctuality.
• Background: Must pass a background check and have verifiable professional references.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel to client homes within the service area.
