About Al Hussan Educational Group

About Al-Hussan Educational Group

The Al-Hussan Education legacy in Saudi Arabia dates back to 1956, when Sheikh Abdel Aziz Rashid Al-Hussan founded the Arab Cultural Institute to promote adult education. The following year, in 1957, the group established the Al-Hussan Modern Girls School, marking the first girls school in the Eastern Province. Today, the Al-Hussan Group proudly operates nineteen schools and educational institutions across the Eastern Province, renowned as some of the best in Saudi Arabia, with an enrollment exceeding 12,000 students. Rashid Abdel Aziz Al-Hussan, the son of the founder, now serves as the President of the Al-Hussan Group of Companies, continuing his fathers mission to make quality education accessible to all.

The group experienced rapid growth with the launch of the International School in the Eastern Province. In September 1998, it opened its first international curriculum school, featuring separate sections for boys and girls on the same campus.

Al-Hussan International Schools are officially registered with the Ministry of Education to deliver the British curriculum, encompassing Cambridge Primary, Secondary, IGCSE, AS, and A2 levels. In August 2011, the Al-Hussan International School in Khobar received authorization to offer the IB Diploma Programme.
