Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree is typically required. Preferred fields include Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related discipline. A Master's degree can be a significant advantage.
Experience: This is a senior role, and a candidate should have at least 5–8 years of experience in commercial property or retail management. Experience in a mall in Qatar for no less than 5 years is required.
Experience should include:
- Management: Prior experience leading and mentoring a team, specifically in a retail or mall environment.• Operations: A history of successfully managing mall operations, including security, maintenance, and facility management.• Tenant Relations: Experience in building and maintaining relationships with a variety of tenants, from small local businesses to large anchor tenants and international brands.• Financial Management: In-depth knowledge of managing budgets and financial performance for a large commercial property.

The Mall Manager is responsible for the overall operational and commercial success of the mall. Their duties are a critical part of the mall's overall success and profitability. Key roles include:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Developing and implementing the mall's overall operational strategy, including facility management, security, and customer service standards.• Conducting market research to identify new trends, potential challenges, and competitive threats. • Preparing and managing the mall's operational budget, including forecasting expenses and revenue.
Operations and Tenant Relations:
- Leading the management of all mall operations to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants.• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing tenants to ensure satisfaction and high retention rates. • Acting as a liaison between tenants and other mall departments, such as leasing and marketing, to ensure smooth operations.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Hiring, training, and mentoring a team of mall staff, including operations, security, and administrative personnel. • Setting performance goals, monitoring team activities, and providing coaching to optimize effectiveness. • Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the mall management team.
Reporting and Financial Analysis:
- Preparing regular reports for senior management on operational performance, key metrics, and financial results. • Analyzing operational data and financial metrics to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
