Managed Services Specialist

PLUMMER SLADE, INC. is an IT Solutions, Managed Service Provider (MSP), and Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) located in downtown Pittsburgh. For over 30 years, Plummer Slade has been providing high quality IT solutions and services to small to mid-sized businesses in the Pittsburgh and surrounding area.

We are looking for a full-time, IT professional to join our technical team. This is a full-time, salaried position with Plummer Slade. We are not an IT placement or contract firm. Responsibilities:

· Monitor and respond to Patch Management & Monitoring Software alerts

· Deploy patch & security agent software on servers, PC's/Laptops

· Apply patches/updates of Windows and third-party software to PC's/Laptops

· Monitor and respond to Security alerts, AV software alerts, and Firewall alerts

· Respond to help desk calls and emails; troubleshoot and resolve issues

· Troubleshoot and remediate malware issues

· Create hardware and software reports

· Maintain Support Documentation

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or Associate's degree

· Two+ years of professional technical experience preferred, but not required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent follow-up skills

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with technical issues

· Ability to work independently and on a team

· Ability to follow operating procedures and instructions

· Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining a professional demeanor

Technical Knowledge:

· Windows installation and/or support

· Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office installation and/or support

· Antivirus software and virus removal

· Active Directory, share permissions, and security groups

· Device manager and computer hardware

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
