The Management Trainee & Student Counsellor will support daily academic and administrative operations, provide guidance to prospective and current students, and train internal staff on the college’s programs, processes, and services. This role requires strong communication skills, an ability to learn quickly, and a passion for student support and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities1. Student Counselling & Admissions Support

  • Provide counselling to prospective students regarding academic programs, entry requirements, career outcomes, and admission procedures.
  • Assist students in selecting suitable courses based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals.
  • Conduct campus tours, information sessions, and counselling appointments (in person and online).
  • Handle student inquiries through phone, email, and walk-ins.
  • Guide students through application, documentation, and enrollment processes.

2. Staff Training & Program Awareness

  • Train all staff members (new and existing) on college programs, accreditation details, admission requirements, and key selling points.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials, presentations, and program briefs.
  • Ensure staff remain updated on any changes in program structure, fees, or policies.
  • Conduct periodic refresher training to improve staff performance and consistency.

3. Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support daily operations related to admissions, student records, and academic coordination.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, orientation sessions, seminars, and student engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate and updated student documentation, logs, and CRM entries.
  • Coordinate with academic departments to ensure smooth communication between faculty, staff, and students.

4. Marketing & Outreach

  • Participate in education fairs, school visits, and promotional events to represent the college.
  • Provide program information to external partners and support lead-generation activities.
  • Assist in creating student advisories, program brochures, and promotional content.

5. Performance & Reporting

  • Maintain monthly logs of counselling sessions, leads, conversions, and student feedback.
  • Provide regular reports to management on enrolment status, student inquiries, and training outcomes.
  • Suggest improvements to counselling processes and student experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn program details quickly and explain them clearly to staff and students.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and a student-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Fresh graduates may apply; training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
