Role Overview

We are hiring a Management Trainee – Law who will be trained in debt recovery strategy, structured negotiation, legal drafting, and borrower engagement.

This role combines legal drafting, follow-ups, negotiation calls, and structured settlement resolution. The candidate will be groomed into a debt resolution and negotiation specialist within the fintech ecosystem

Key Responsibilities

1️ Legal Drafting & Documentation

• Draft legal notices for debt recovery, demand notices, settlement letters, and related documentation
• Review loan agreements and supporting documents to understand enforceability and recovery strategy
• Assist in preparing documentation for escalations and legal proceedings (if required)

2️ Negotiation & Settlement

• Conduct structured negotiation calls with borrowers to discuss repayment plans and settlement options
• Assist in structuring mutually viable repayment schedules
• Support closure of recovery cases through negotiated settlements
• Maintain negotiation logs and settlement records

3️ Follow-Ups & Recovery Management

• Conduct timely follow-ups on repayment commitments
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with agreed settlement terms
• Coordinate with internal teams for recovery updates

4️ Compliance & Process Adherence

• Ensure all communication complies with applicable debt recovery laws and regulatory standards
• Maintain professionalism, dignity, and ethical conduct in borrower interactions

Eligibility Criteria

LL.B. (3-year or 5-year integrated law degree)

0–2 years of experience (freshers may apply)

Strong interest in negotiation, mediation, or dispute resolution

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly and professionally

Preferred

Certification or training in ADR / Mediation / Negotiation (not mandatory)

Interest in fintech, banking, or financial regulations

Strong drafting and analytical skills
