Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on restaurant management and hospitality. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to supervise staff, ensure food safety standards, and maintain high-quality service.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Train and develop staff in food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, and cash handling procedures.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food safety compliance, and quality assurance.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance among staff.
- Oversee scheduling and staffing needs to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with upper management to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen management principles.
- Experience in staff training and development, with the ability to motivate team members effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling processes and point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- A passion for coffee or experience in coffee preparation is a plus.
