We are looking for manager for all 3 Mutt's BBQ locations!
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations across our service environment. This role is vital in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence. Duties
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of customer service
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development opportunities
- Manage employee scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to optimize staffing levels
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, cash handling procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance feedback
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets, inventory control, and budgeting to meet business objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store procedures
Experience
- Proven management experience in a restaurant
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse teams and customers
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and store management software
- Leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills for efficient time management and task prioritization
- Knowledge of retail math principles such as budgeting, sales analysis, stock rotation, and shrink reduction
