Job Summary
Together Events is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts & Compliance to lead our financial operations. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring strict statutory compliance, maintaining fiscal integrity, and managing all financial legal documentation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in compliance, audits, and financial documentation, along with a proactive and analytical approach to financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal & Financial Documentation:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all legal and financial documentation.
- Review and interpret legal agreements, vendor contracts, and client documents to ensure accuracy of financial terms and compliance.
- Statutory Compliance & Audits:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, and other statutory returns.
- Manage compliance with regulatory bodies and coordinate audits and tax assessments.
- Vendor & Client Reconciliation:
- Oversee vendor payments and client invoice settlements.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, with a focus on contractual obligations.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong focus on statutory compliance, audits, and financial/legal documentation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
