Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate good business sense & good control over multiple projects.
-
Have a good sense of the overall direction of multiple projects (end-to-end sense of the projects).

Be able to prepare innovate new deliverables and documentations & carry out a thorough review of the work performed.

Ensure that work is in accordance with actuarial standards of practice, all applicable local laws, regulations and accounting standards and firm wide best practices and is apprised of new developments.

Assist seniors (SM) with management of multiple projects and communicating the same to client and team.

Effectively coordinate the work with all stakeholders, client, team members and seniors management.

Maintain an overall positive working environment in the team and be a effective team leader.

Maintain positive relationships with support functions & manage requirements of the teams (such as leaves &^ attendance concerns).

Assist seniors with operational client matters such as preparation of contracts and proposals

Assist seniors with team management in hiring and resource allocation.

lead possible firm wide improvements & actively contribute towards implementing firm's new initiative (example automation or matters related to internal administration)
What Are We Looking For:
-
A University degree with a major in mathematics, actuarial science, economics, finance or related discipline with a good academic track record.

Must be ASA from any actuarial organization.

Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience of insurance, reinsurance or actuarial consulting business.

Should have a strong sense of responsibility towards the work assigned by seniors and towards clients and take ownership of multiple projects/clients.

Have a strong command of standard actuarial models and techniques

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Commitment to grow with the firm and take on leadership roles.

Should possess a strong will to progress and develop personal skills and firm skills.
-
Strong command of Microsoft Excel (including VBA) and Microsoft Access/SQL. Having a knowledge of programming software e.g. R/SAS/SPSS is preferred.
