Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate good business sense & good control over multiple projects.
• Have a good sense of the overall direction of multiple projects (end-to-end sense of the projects).
• Be able to prepare innovate new deliverables and documentations & carry out a thorough review of the work performed.
• Ensure that work is in accordance with actuarial standards of practice, all applicable local laws, regulations and accounting standards and firm wide best practices and is apprised of new developments.
• Assist seniors (SM) with management of multiple projects and communicating the same to client and team.
• Effectively coordinate the work with all stakeholders, client, team members and seniors management.
• Maintain an overall positive working environment in the team and be a effective team leader.
• Maintain positive relationships with support functions & manage requirements of the teams (such as leaves &^ attendance concerns).
• Assist seniors with operational client matters such as preparation of contracts and proposals
• Assist seniors with team management in hiring and resource allocation.
• lead possible firm wide improvements & actively contribute towards implementing firm's new initiative (example automation or matters related to internal administration)

What Are We Looking For:

• A University degree with a major in mathematics, actuarial science, economics, finance or related discipline with a good academic track record.
• Must be ASA from any actuarial organization.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience of insurance, reinsurance or actuarial consulting business.
• Should have a strong sense of responsibility towards the work assigned by seniors and towards clients and take ownership of multiple projects/clients.
• Have a strong command of standard actuarial models and techniques
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to grow with the firm and take on leadership roles.
• Should possess a strong will to progress and develop personal skills and firm skills.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel (including VBA) and Microsoft Access/SQL. Having a knowledge of programming software e.g. R/SAS/SPSS is preferred.
