Manager / Associate Director, MDM- Remote (India)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager / Associate Director to lead our offshore delivery organization and manage a portfolio of existing client engagements. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Data Management, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Warehousing (DW), and enterprise data platforms , along with a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple large-scale projects end-to-end. The individual will act as a delivery lead, client partner, and Subject Matter Expert (SME ), ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of data programs (MDM, DW, data integration, governance) from requirements through deployment and stabilization
  • Own offshore team leadership, including planning, prioritization, mentoring, performance management, and quality oversight
  • Manage and expand existing client engagements, act as the primary delivery contact and trusted advisor
  • Drive solution architecture discussions and ensure scalable, secure, and standards-aligned designs
  • Establish strong governance, documentation, and compliance practices (BRD, FDD, TDD, data models, validation artifacts); GxP exposure preferred
  • Provide accurate estimations, capacity planning, and resource forecasting to support new and ongoing initiatives
  • Identify risks proactively and act as escalation point to ensure timely resolution
  • Drive operational efficiency, automation, and optimization of overall deliverables
  • Support business development through solutioning, proposal inputs, and onboarding of new clients
  • Serve as SME across data initiatives, guiding teams on best practices and emerging trends

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in data and technology Pharma consulting services
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end data programs on a scale
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading medium to large offshore delivery teams
  • Strong hands-on and architectural understanding of:
    • Data Management frameworks
    • MDM implementations
    • Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
    • Data integration and transformation processes
  • Experience working with global (onshore–offshore) delivery models
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Exposure to GxP or regulated environments is a plus
